Miksi Early Access?

We have chosen to release Ashen Knights: Foreshadow as an Early Access game because it is our first game to date, and we want to involve the community in its development from an early stage. We believe that this will allow us to fine-tune and enhance various elements of the game to their best potential, based on the feedback and comments we receive from players.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We are making every effort to develop the game and will be glad to receive your constructive suggestions and detailed reviews. We have a rough estimate of the time needed to develop the early access version, but this assessment may vary depending on your feedback. We will keep you updated on the development progress. Based on our estimates, the game will remain in early access for approximately 5-6 more months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We will be gathering player feedback and taking it into account throughout the entire development period, which may extend the development time. Before the release of version 1.0, we plan to add the following elements to the game:
Extended storyline with more chapters.
New locations.
New enemies and bosses.
Sub-Story missions.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current state of the Early Access version includes
3 chapters of the story campaign,
2 main characters with different combat styles,
3 large locations to freely explore and discover secrets,
Side quests that will tell you more about the game world and its inhabitants,
Boss battles with abyssal creatures,
and a variety of crystals and rings to enhance the character.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We plan to introduce a discount for early access, but the price will increase once the game reaches version 1.0 or exits early access. If you make a purchase during early access, you will not need to pay extra when the game reaches version 1.0.

We are striving to accept as much feedback as possible from the community and take it into account during the development of Ashen Knights Foreshadow. In the world devoured by the Abyss, humans either fight or die. A long time ago, Ashen Knights chose their path: to serve humanity and protect themselves and their loved ones. But every choice is followed by its consequences.



Ashen Knights is a unique mixture of two complementary gameplays. Tired of managing your stamina and scrupulously calculating your attacks? The game will grant you an opportunity to destroy foes in dozens with a single sweep of your weapon. Bored without a decent challenge? Try slaying an enemy ten times stronger than you are.





In Ashen Knights, the gameplay is but a way to share and express emotions. Playing as different characters, you'll feel how your battle drive gets replaced with crippling anxiety that slowly transforms into blinding rage.





All of your emotions, every sound, every note, and every detail are a hidden message from the game world. And just as the world of Ashen Knights is a myriad of remote isles shattered by the Abyss, its narrative is a grim and mysterious puzzle made of numerous manifestations. Will you be able to piece it back together?





Every single phenomenon in the game—from the quietest of sounds to the biggest of bosses—is just a cover hiding the story of this world. So, what is the nature of the Abyss? What does it have to do with our heroes? And how does it bring them together?





The Abyss is not going to reveal its secrets for nothing. For every answer, one has to pay with numerous battles against its spawn: multiform mutants, insidious mimics, and mighty bosses.





The Abyss is not going to reveal all its secrets right away. On every level, it will expose itself in a new, previously unknown way. It will keep getting you back to the very beginning of the location. It will throw immortal enemies at you. It will stab you in the back with no chance to defend yourself. But no matter how dissimilar the distant corners of this world seem, they are all united by the narrative of collapse and the atmosphere of dark fantasy.
