«Though Mewnition is still fairly bare-bones, we've had a lot of fun playing the early-game content with family and friends, and we'd like to share that experience beyond our team. As a 2-person developer & artist team, Early Access is a valuable opportunity to connect with our community at large, and receive valuable player feedback at this early stage of development. With the help of our players, we are looking forward to growing the game and refining its custom, in-house engine as we work towards delivering the best version of this game that can possibly exist.»

«We are targeting a Winter 2025 official release»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«Our fundamental combat & co-op mechanics will largely remain the same. We plan to evolve the combat progression during Early Access by introducing additional regions. With these regions, we hope to deliver new environments to explore, new weapons to wield, new enemies to vanquish, new minigames to play, and new stories to be told.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«This version currently features the first playable region, and showcases the beginning of the game's core mechanics. Customize your cat avatar in the character creator, and build a base with your friends on the housing sandbox island. Craft & discover a few rudimentary weapons & artifacts, and test your skills against the first few co-op combat challenges. Play a few rounds of a minigame with friends, and buy some new accessories from a shopkeep.

There may be some bugs, especially with our custom engine, so be sure to try out the demo to make sure the game runs for you. Still, we have extensively tested the engine to ensure a smooth & stable multiplayer experience, and we have carefully crafted our systems to minimize the risk of gamebreaking bugs. We are designing the game so that players can continue using the same save file as new regions & content are released throughout Early Access, so we've gone to great lengths to make sure our save system is robust.»

«The price will increase when we release the full version. We may raise the price during Early Access as more content is released. Keep an eye on our Events & Announcements, as we will always notify our community of upcoming price changes.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«We'll be reading through the Steam Forums/Community Hub periodically, and and we'll be gathering feedback as well on our other platforms such as Itch.io & IndieDB. We're a small team, and a lot of our time & effort will be invested into developing the game, but we'll do our best to address any issues and/or concerns as quickly as we can.»

1-16 PLAYER CO-OP

Adventure alongside your friends through the vast, interconnected environments as you discover dangerous weaponry and magical artifacts. Use the strengths of your arsenal to synergize with your teammates, and conquer the challenging bosses this world has to offer.

VOXEL ENVIRONMENT

Enhance your mobility by strategically molding your arenas to fit your playstyle. Create a flat and empty battle area, or build an interconnected system of launch pads and platforms -- the voxel sandbox allows you to get as creative as you want.

DANGEROUS WEAPONRY

Pick from a variety of weapons and artifacts to fight enemies on your terms. From sharp swords to baseball bats, from crossbows to fish cannons -- there is a large variety of weaponry to find and craft.

MAGICAL ARTIFACTS

Various abilities and armors can be used to enhance your mobility and increase your survivability in this dangerous world. Choose wisely, you may find yourself propelling through the air, or becoming the healing beacon for your friends.

UNCOVER THE SECRETS

The mysterious story of Mewnition slowly unravels as you explore its world. Discover the sacred texts in the depths of caves and in the halls of temples, and learn fragments of the lore as you befriend the locals.
