Recondo is a top-down strategy and tactics game that revolves around managing and deploying a unit of Rangers in daring missions behind enemy lines to observe, kill, or capture the elusive enemy.

True to its roots, Recondo offers a hardcore experience with an unmatched level of agency over your squad and missions. It focuses on realistic patrolling, tracking mechanics, and tense combat on the Ho Chi Minh trail during the Vietnam War. Choose to go heavy or light, loud or stealthy in a procedurally generated jungle filled with clever enemies, hidden traps, and juicy intel. Enjoy full autonomy in how you equip, train, and deploy your Rangers.

Recondo also features our unique and realistic take on military politics and bureaucracy, with the memo system expanded based on veterans' input and historical data, providing an often overlooked insight into the power dynamics at play within the chain of command.
