„Undertow is a complete experience in regards to the core gameplay elements. However, during the Early Access phase it is planned to improve and add to the gameplay features in accordance with feedback from the community. We will be adding online leaderboards, performance uniqueness to each boat like acceleration and top speed. In addition to that, it is planned to expand on the mode types significantly. This will include a Music Challenge that the player will have to successfully race in order to hear every instrument in the song that's playing. It will also include a Hazard Challenge mode that pits the player against hundreds of hazards they have to navigate to get to the finish line.“
