The internet connected the world, but the dark web made crime widespread and virtually undetectable. Creating the golden age of the drug trade.

Vice NDRCVR is steeped in the unique 1980s Miami atmosphere, from the neon aesthetic, synth soundtracks, and homages to classic crime cinema and TV, to - the cocaine trade. But in this alternate Miami, advanced technology existed much earlier than in reality.


EXPLORE AN ICONIC 1980s COMPUTER SYSTEM

The Amigos OS is your window into the complex and hidden world of the cartels. The gameplay takes place almost entirely in a classic operating system reminiscent of Windows 3.1. Access databases with confidential information, examine satellite photos to locate suspects, monitor CCTV systems to avoid detection, and much more.


POKE AROUND WHERE YOU SHOULDN’T

Progressively discover and install new apps that take you deeper into the cartel network. Carry out assignments for the cops while staying undetected, discover hidden crime networks, and reveal confidential information. Learn to master apps and manage your desktop resources, including RAM memory.


CAN YOU STAY FAITHFUL IN THE LINE OF DUTY?

Choices matter. And you will face tough decisions. What do you do when everyone has an agenda, and you have no idea who will stab you in the back? At what point does doing bad things for the greater good cross the line?

Using the Calypso Player - inspired by Winamp Classic - you’ll browse a library of retro-synthwave tunes from some of the genre's most iconic artists. Change song whenever you want to create your own soundtrack as you hunt down the cartel.
