Through a turn-based summoning ritual, you'll have to play your cards right, to dominate the creature while empowering its Strength, Power and Toxicity. The more powerful the creature is, the bigger the reward but the deadlier the risk. Death is permanent, so be careful about your strategy : You may regret going down the path of madness ...

« Inspired by dreams, you embody a master of the occult arts aiming for the Ascension, a ritual supposed to elevate yourself to the rank of Divinity.
By summoning and sacrificing creatures and lesser deities, you will travel the world, searching for esoteric places where you can practice your art and gather power. »

  • Build your deck to summon and dominate eldritch creatures.
  • Conduct turn-based rituals and invocation where death is permanent.
  • Recruit, Influence and even Sacrifice your disciples to gather more power.
  • Choose the fate of your summoned creatures and assume the consequences.
  • Dominate the Three Cosmic Horrors and face the Elder to complete your Ascension.
  • Unlock new Characters to play as and new cards to play with each time you finish a game.

About

Created during the game jam Ludum Dare n°49, Lovecrafting is developed by Nameless XIII, a french indie studio from Toulouse. It is a roguelite card and deck-building game, in which the player summons a creature, with the objective of making it more and more powerful while surviving its attacks.
