Varför Early Access?

“Tower Defense games present a difficult task when it comes to balancing, a task which becomes harder the more towers and enemies are added. The fact makes feedback from the community particularly important, and there is no better way to garner that feedback than allowing anyone to play the game early. Additionally, early access will also increase the amount of conversation among the community, which will also serve a great help in and of itself due to the motivational benefits. Finally, it's way more fun to give out a playable version of the game than it is to give out screenshots and videos which only amount to marketing materials in the end.”

“The full version of SynthWaves is planned to contain 75 levels, 4 endless stages, 20 towers, 70+ enemies, and 4 boss fights, as well as a feature allowing players to select any music track from the game to play regardless of level as a reward for completing the game.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The current build of the game has 39 levels, 15 towers, around 30 enemies, 2 endless stages, and 2 boss fights. All the features in the current version may be changed or swapped out with something new depending on feedback regarding certain levels, towers, and enemies.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The price of the game will be consistent throughout early access, while the price on full release will be higher, most likely roughly double the early access pricing.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Community feedback and suggestions are incredibly important for the development process, especially if there is some issue invisible to developers that stands out to players. Open communication will be a valuable tool in growing and improving the game, and I want nothing more than to engage in such communication due to how it will aid the development of the game and the motivation that drives that process.”
