S4Game is a serious game. The main purpose of serious games is education and training.

The main features of optimal learning environments are:

  • Continuous monitoring of progress, and use of this information to diagnose performance and adjust instruction to learner level of mastery.
  • Encouragement of inquiry and questions, and response with answersthat are appropriate to the learner and context.
  • Contextual bridging: games and simulations can close the gap between what is learned and its use.

Another subgenre of the video game is graphic adventure, with interactive elements and decision making. The player assumes the role of a protagonist in an interactive story driven by exploration and / or puzzle-solving.

The perspective of the camera within the game, depending on the practical case that is being trained, will be played in first or third person. First person view means camera is the same as the point of view of the player. On the other hand, the main characteristic of the third person view is that the sceneis seen globally, as an external spectator,and generally from the back.

Regarding the visual style, the elements of the game are realistic 3D with semi-realistic textures.
