After many years of development, we did not want to keep our community waiting any longer. Instead, we're opening the door for collaboration to mold "ONE of 500" into an engaging, meaningful, and thought-provoking experience.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«The duration of the Early Access status will depend significantly on the funding of the project. We hope to be able to constantly produce new content through your support and advertising for it; this will also be available in the Early Access version.
Presumably for at least the next six months. We focus on quality and ensuring that the game meets our standards before its full release.»

«We already have some features in development that are not yet visible in the Early Access version.
Future updates will bring enhancements to visuals, gameplay, and performance, as well as new features and content.
We are also planning 5 episodes in season 1.»

«The Early Access version currently only includes the prologue. This is approx. 1/3 of Episode 1, part of which has already been produced. The same applies to episodes 2 and 3.
The Early Access status includes the basic features such as dialog system, advanced actions, story system, Bible log (prototype), inspect, and eavesdrop.»

ONE of 500 is a third-person story-adventure, in which you experience the most important story of all time from the perspective of a young fisherman: The Story of Jesus from Nazareth.

Embark on a morally and spiritually challenging journey and shape your adventure: Face existential life questions and deal with fundamental human conflicts in a biblical context.

Discover the authentic world of Jesus of Nazareth and immersively experience the events, meaning, and relevance of the Gospel in its historical and cultural context.

How your very own adventure unfolds alongside the greatest story every told, is a sum of your actions!

Gameplay

ONE of 500 lets you shape the personal adventure. It is about taking matters into your own hands, which can be broken down into 3 basic aspects:

Explore and discover a world of conflict.
Explore atmospheric and detailed locations. Meet believable Characters and get to know their story, opinions and personal agendas. And discover and inspect an interactive environment.
Witness events of the Gospel and experience how these impact the story and world of your character.
Shape your journey through choices and actions.
Face meaningful decisions, position yourself towards what you experienced, and follow through with your actions.
Be free how to choose and express your thoughts. All decisions are meant to be yours - to make it your personal journey. There is no “right or wrong” to complete a quest. The player´s skill does not limit the progression in the branching narrative.
Experience and deal with the consequences of your decisions.
You can leave a persistent mark in the world! Different groups and people have distinct agendas and will remember and react to your actions - which might directly impact your next decisions and the relationship with the NPCs.

Story

In ONE of 500 you experience the events, that have significantly shaped our world today, through the eyes of a fictional contemporary witness.

You play the 16-year-old fisher-boy named Benjamin. As part of a poor fishing family in Capernaum you have to face the challenges of growing up, meeting your family´s expectations and finding your place in the local society while the people around you react differently to the recent groundbreaking events and changes of circumstances.

A web of relationships between opposing parties and challenging dilemmas forces you to make decisions. Who are you? Who do you want to be? What is right and wrong?

Your decisions and actions allow you to define your journey, grant different and distinct perspectives on the things happening around you and cause believable, persistent consequences which enable you to form a better understanding and an educated positioning towards these biblical events.

Authentische Welt

Explore the detailed, visually stunning, and authentic world of 1st century Galilee.

Immerse yourself in the soundly reconstructed world of Capernaum at the Sea of Galilee in 28AD. Discover the culture, society, political and religious actors as well as the smoldering conflicts of this time - and thus get a better understanding of the ancient world and texts.

Make your way through tight alleys, crowded marketplaces, and various insulae, home to most inhabitants of ancient Capernaum. Set foot into the vivid world at Lake Galilee, where the legendary events of the Gospels took place.

With the support of renowned experts, we are meticulously recreating the archeologically and culturally adequate reconstructed world of 1st century Galilee relying on the latest scientific knowledge and fotogrammetry to scan actual archaeological findings.
