About This Game

Marsmare: Alienation is a thrilling adventure of an earthling kidnapped by malevolent aliens.

This is the release of the acclaimed modern game for the 8-bit ZX Spectrum computer - now with new graphics and soundtrack.

What awaits you:


  • Switchable graphics modes: classic, colorful 2D and impressive 3D
  • Improve your gear and gain new abilities as you progress through the game.
  • Three large locations to explore: an underground alien lab base, caves filled with enemies and traps, and the surface of Mars.
  • The player will journey through an alien space base filled with secrets and tricky traps. Numerous enemies such as Martians, robotic spiders, space slugs and flying drones will prevent you from collecting the items scattered all over the map needed to fly back to your home planet.

Do you have enough courage to defy the Martians and return to your home planet victorious? Try your hand at it!

Early Access features a full game in three graphic modes.

Upcoming updates:


  • We plan to continue the story of our hero and add new chapters.
  • We are working on new game modes such as spaceship flight mode and planning to add new locations: moon caverns, abandoned NASA base.
  • We plan to add new enemies, traps and puzzles into the game.

The looks of the final game highly depends on our Early Access players' suggestions and ideas.
