Miksi Early Access?

Participating in Early Access allows us to continue to shape Dawn Apart with the input from our growing community - as we have since announcing the game.

Although we strive for a refined gameplay experience when going into Early Access, we value the comments and criticisms of our early adopters and want to use that feedback to build the best game we possibly can moving towards a full release.

We appreciate everyone supporting us during Early Access and helping us reach the game’s true potential.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We're aiming for an early access phase of 20-30 months - depending on the input we receive from players.

We might extend the early access period based on the development progress, or if we're happy with the game's state, we'll proceed with the official release.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

For the full version of Dawn Apart we plan to add content (new biomes, flora and fauna, events) and systems (additional colony life aspects, different game mode options), which we plan to develop during the Early Access phase with input from our community.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

We plan for the Early Access version of Dawn Apart to include the base game which features core gameplay systems such as automation/building, colony simulation and combat/destruction as well as features such as basic terraforming, day/night cycle, and a campaign and a sandbox mode.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price may increase for our full retail launch. We have huge plans for the game and all the content we have in the pipeline, but while we build that content we want to reward early adopters that are excited to experience the game while we craft it.

Since announcing Dawn Apart we have implemented a high degree of transparency in developing the game and value our community's feedback.

We have taken on a “Glass Factory approach” where members of our Discord server can actively follow the day-to-day development of Dawn Apart, comment and give feedback and shape elements of the game through polls and questionnaires. We also livestream weekly development meetings where the public can see the latest builds and features in action and ask questions.

We envision Dawn Apart as a collaborative endeavour between our development team and the players. Your feedback on Dawn Apart is highly valued and appreciated.
