Knight of the Forgotten Realm is a 2.5D side-scroller action-adventure soulslike set in a war torn-land ravaged by demonic beings known as the Ancient Ones. After an unprecedented attack on a critical outpost, a god-like being named Lucian saves your life. In return, the Eternal orders you to head east, to venture into forbidden territory to uncover lost knowledge crucial to the realm. Will you survive the Eternal's call?

Traverse A War-torn Land

34 years ago, the Great Burning scarred the realm of Austeria. A once peaceful and harmonious realm, thrown into chaos by a coup d'etat lead by a traitorous royal guard, Typherius. Rivers of blood flowed through the streets of cities who would not bend the knee, who would not denounce the Eternals and burn any knowledge of Eternia. Many paid the ultimate price in the years to come until Ancient Ones flooded the eastern lands of Elemore, halting the bloody crusade led by Typherius and refocusing humanities efforts on survival.

Visceral Combat

Inspired by the soulslike genre, experience a visceral combo-based combat system that is easy to learn, but hard to master. On your journey, you'll discover ancient relics lost to decades of war, unlock numerous abilities, and encounter bosses that'll challenge even the most decorated knight.

Overcharge Your Soul

As you gain momentum in combat, Lucian will grant you the capability to overcharge your soul. While in this overcharged state, Vali's power is significantly increased, providing him an edge in combat. The more successful you are in combat, the more Lucian will lend you his power. With every fallen Ancient One granting you their soul power, your bond with Lucian will grow, unlocking new combos and passives to aid you on your journey.

A Short Story

Knight of the Forgotten Realm is designed to be played in one sitting. Having a runtime under 2 hours, this short story will keep you engrossed the entire way with thrilling action, deep storytelling, and a world that expands before your eyes. This is our first of numerous planned games in this universe, each of which will explore different themes and genres to keep you coming back for more.
