Varför Early Access?

“Bullet Casters’ single player mode is composed of many short but intense stages. This structure makes it easy to iterate and expand on the game. The goal of this Early Access is to hear directly from you which aspects of the game you would like us to focus on.
Some of the features we will priorities based on the player’s feedback are for example more characters, stages, power ups, an easy mode or additional hardcore challenges.
The Bullet Casters PvP mode offers a really unique interaction between the players, where one basically creates a stage in real time to challenge the opponent. The players’ feedback for this mode will be really valuable to achieve the best balancing.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We plan to complete the game by early autumn 2023. Before that we will update the game with features suggested by the community and a major patch during the summer that will add a whole new act.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The full version of the game will include 2 additional acts. Each act is set in a different area of the world of Silveris and includes new stages, enemies, boss fights, music, and story.
Other features that may be worked on based on the player feedback are:

- More Power Ups
- More Characters
- Extra stages
- Multiple modes
- Improved balancing”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The early access version contains all the core features of the game. The single player mode includes 52 stages, playable as any of the 4 characters. 3 out of 5 acts of the story are in place. The Duel Mode is fully playable, but we plan to add more options for it in the future. The visuals, sounds and music are polished and there are no temporary placeholder assets.
The game is fully playable with both keyboard and gamepad, except if you are playing as the defender in Duel Mode (who uses the mouse to place units.)”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We would like to match the price to the state of the game over time. So the price will gradually increase with each patch introducing a new act of the single player mode.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Bullet Casters has a Discord server where there are dedicated channels to share feedback or report bugs. Other channels that we will frequently check for feedback and use to send out announcements are the Steam Community and Twitter. In our development plan we have accounted for time to implement features and changes suggested by the community.”
