Wat de ontwikkelaars zeggen:

Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'As a single developer working alone it takes a very long time for me to develop features for the game. That's why I am choosing Early Access as a way for people to enjoy the most current up to date build of my project. My goal is to develop gameplay mechanics and story missions in 2025 and receive feedback from players during early access to guide the project. I am committed to developing the project as much as I can.'

Hoelang blijft dit spel ongeveer in vroegtijdige toegang?

'Its hard to say, but I will be commencing further work this year that will enhance the graphics and performance related issues that I see. 2025 will be a year of building gameplay mechanics for the project. The rough estimate for a full release would be the end of 2026.'

Hoe gaat de volledige versie verschillen van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'I will be adding game play mechanics and more features to make the game more enjoyable. I am planning a whole host of great crafting and story mechanics for project this but its difficult to say when these will be ready. All of the art assets and built environment is 90% completed in the early access build but it is missing story and missions along with a gameplay loop.'

Wat is de huidige staat van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'The art work for the game is near or near enough complete. It offers a huge area to explore and experience what a real 17th century English city might have been like. It is missing story, missions and crafting. It also doesn't offer a solid gameplay loop. It offers a fully realised 3d environment that you can explore on foot or horseback.'

Zal het spel anders geprijsd worden tijdens en na vroegtijdige toegang?

'No, the project will remain free for its whole life time.'

Hoe zijn jullie van plan de community te betrekken bij het ontwikkelproces?

'The ultimate goal would be to create an open source project that anyone with an interest can join in. This is quite costly and takes lots of time to organize but I remain hopeful that this could happen. Player feedback at this stage is very important to me if you want to be involved in the feedback and direction of the project please contact me via email or through the steam comments section. I would like players to feedback to me what gameplay features the game would benefit from that could be a story mission or developing the main gameplay loop, as that is currently undecided.'

About This Project

You need to be aware that this is a historic recreation project and doesn't contain any game play that you would expect from a traditional game at this point. The game should be very enjoyable from a historic stand point and for exploring the past. Thank you

Over dit spel

A historically based recreation of my home city of Hereford in England UK from the year 1642. I have pieced together a picture of the city as it once was. Take a step into 17th century life and experience history in full 3D with realistic graphics.

Using period maps, illustrations and drawings, together with still existing period buildings in the City and elsewhere; A scale model of the city as it once was.

Over 200 unique enterable buildings together with the the city walls and gates, the castle and the bridge over the river Wye. Beyond the gates you can travel the countryside; A 4Km * 4Km map allows you to journey and explore a mile from the city in any direction. With towering cathedrals and churches seen from miles away. A highly interactable environment awaits with many hidden gems to find.

Your character lives and works in the 17th century with all that entails. Period clothes, money, tools, transport, food, language, writing, to name but a few aspects.

The past is another country: they do things differently there.
