About This Game

Build your Ant Colony in a sandbox environment where the insects around you interact with each other creating emergent gameplay situations. SuperColony is inspired by the complex behaviors found in the tiny world of insects and the great RTS and Colony-Simulation games.

You begin on a continent with a queen and a few workers…

Manage the Colony and Grow your Empire:

Help ants navigate through the world by placing pheromone markers to guide them. Raise the alarms with war pheromones, hint at new resources with scouting pheromones, and encourage them to return resources to the colony with harvest pheromones. Direct an entire ant colony with a single click and watch their complex behaviors respond to the commands.

Fight Insects and Learn their Secrets:

When you kill something you can harvest their resources but also their Genetic abilities. Learn to fly from Ladybugs, or spin webs from local Arachnids.. That is, if you can kill them.

Learn from Surroundings, Including the Plantlife:

Everything drops DNA points, but only some things drop their Genes. Use the points to unlock the Genes that you find, and evolve your ant colony into something great.

Explore the Gene Tree as you Find New Genes in the World:

With 6 parts on each ant, the number of potential combinations for building new ant castes is vast. Try different combinations for different situations and strategies.

Customize Ants in the Caste Editor:

Your ant colony is unique in that it can direct its evolution. Build warriors, scouts, harvesters or hybrids! Explore genes with unique abilities like flying, web slinging and explosion!

Manage your Environment! You Are Not the Only One who Wants the Resources:

Your actions impact the world. Kill all the Ladybugs and the Aphids wreak havoc in the world. While you explore the world, pay attention to your surroundings and you will learn how to thrive.


The final and most important goal of the ant colony is to amass enough resources to create new queens that will carry hard won genes to distant lands. By completing this task, players will expand their network of ant societies and be one step closer to achieving their goal of global SuperColony.
