The Whimsical Tale of a Tiny Dragon's Big Adventure! 

Dono's Tale is a traditional "reach the goal" Action Platformer. Dono will have to platform his way through obstacles and enemies in order to make it to the goal!

Dono can jump, dodge, and shoot fireballs in order to make his path through the many obstacles he will encounter!

Dono's Tale

It’s a stormy night in Fruit Forest.. and this is bad news for Dono and his emergency reserve of delicious Fruit! As Dono struggles to keep his home from collapsing during the storm, Dono’s Fruit would get swept up and scattered across the land! 

After the storm subsides, Dono and his friends team up and embark on an adventure to recover the lost Fruit, finding themselves in many fun and strange scenarios along the way!

Along his journey, Dono will learn new abilities that will allow him to dash lightning-fast, jump leaps higher, dig through terrain, scale walls, and much more in order to collect all the Fruit scattered around the levels.

This is Dono’s main attack of choice! With his trusty fireball, Dono can attack enemies from a safe distance, destroy blocks, and burn through anything flammable in his path.

Dono sharpens his claws and puts them to good use by slashing enemies with this powerful close-range attack! He can also use them to cut ropes and vines, as well as dig through soft dirt.

An indestructible ancient shield that was supposedly once wielded by a great and powerful shell-bearing hero long ago.. Dono can use this shield to reflect any projectiles thrown at him from any direction, and send them right back! It can also protect Dono from close-range melee attacks.

When using the Shell Shield in the air, Dono does a gnarly flip that reflects any incoming projectiles. If the button is held, he can even ride atop the shell like a surfboard and bounce off enemies with it!

With this ability, Dono can summon a pair of magical wings that let him leap bounds higher, reaching new heights and spots that he couldn't before!

Dono can also summon the wings while airborne, allowing him to flutter and grant some extra time in the air after a jump. If used during the peak of your jump, you can gain some extra height! But if you use it while falling, it will only slow your descent.

Dono learns how to turn most of his body into energy, allowing him to zip around and across with electrifying speed! With this ability, Dono can gain lots of speed and even momentum in the air if he jumps after activating it. He can also squeeze through gaps he couldn’t before! 

However, zip with caution and be wary of anyone in the way. Dono's precious little face is still very much vulnerable!   

Dono acquires a glove from a famous mountain-climbing wrestler that allows him to grab onto any wall and climb it! But be careful, Dono has a limited amount of stamina. Once his stamina runs out, he will start to slide down the wall.

Dono can also use the glove to grapple enemies, and even pick up certain items in order to carry them with him!  

Ability Swapping

Dono is limited to 2 abilities at a time, but he can switch between them on the fly! Abilities are categorized into two different types, Mobility and Attack.

Ability Combos

While not necessary to complete his adventure, Dono can use these abilities in sequence and string together incredible combos that will allow him to reach even higher and further places than before.

Dono's World

The game will feature 7 worlds with 6 levels each, including a Boss Fight (For a total of 42 Levels). 

Each world will focus on the ability you just unlocked. For example, World 2's level designs will focus on obstacles using the "Pegasus Wing". Once all abilities are unlocked, you can go back to earlier worlds and use your new abilities to find secret paths and collectables!
