Somber Heaven is an Open-World Action RPG with combat inspired by Kingdom Hearts, visuals inspired by Final Fantasy, and exploration inspired by The Lord of the Rings.

Play as Ardlan, a skilled thief turned reluctant hero, gifted with a divine weapon known as The Heaven Sword to combat negative manifestations known as Leaks. Join the White Leaf Society and explore vast landscapes from snowy frontiers to bustling cities, ancient ruins to arid deserts. Master fast-paced combat combining ground and aerial combos, wield powerful magic, and master various abilities through the Heaven's Heart system.

Earn Your Living in this rich world through questing, trading, and discovering the secrets that lie within Sonara's troubled history.

In the world of Sonara, history whispers of a golden age when elves ruled—a time of peace and endless wisdom. But that age is long gone. Humanity’s rise brought progress and conflict, leading to the creation of Leaks—malevolent manifestations of negativity born from the ancient war between the two races.

A dream forged by forgotten history...

Many era's later, In the present day, Ardlan, a skilled thief from the island of Mother's Rest, faces a fateful encounter with a Leak that changes his life forever. Resurrected through a mysterious pact, he joins the White Leaf Society, an organization dedicated to eradicating the Leaks. Alongside Lilian, one of the last elves, and Sky, a steadfast warrior (and many other character's yet to be revealed), Ardlan and friends must navigate a world shrouded in danger and the shadows of histories forgotten era.. Together, they’ll confront ancient ruins, vast cityscapes and landscapes and relentless enemies, and secrets that could either save Sonara—or doom it forever.

• Engage in fast-paced, real-time combat featuring fluid ground and aerial combos.

• Activate powerful abilities, extend or shorten a combo with combo modifiers, and execute devastating finishers.

• Master magic spells like Fire, Lightning, Ice, and Wind, with more to discover.

• The Heaven Sword: Upon arriving at the Final Station, Ardlan is gifted this divine weapon, imbued with positive energy to counteract the Leaks' negativity.

  • Heaven’s Heart: Customize the Heaven Sword by swapping out its Heaven’s Heart, a core piece that changes its appearance, stats, and unlocks powerful new abilities. Once mastered, abilities can be freely used across any Heaven’s Heart piece.

  • Shards of Heaven: Collect these to upgrade Heaven's Heart pieces, enhancing their stats and unlocking their true potential..

• Level Up & Unlock Potential: Earn experience by defeating enemies to level up. Unlock new magic, abilities, and combat enhancements. Use Ability Points (AP) to toggle abilities on and off.

  

Journey through diverse regions, including:

Novalys:

• Explore Northpointe's harsh wilderness and snow-covered peaks, where the fortified border town of The Last Fence stands vigilant against the Frozen Waste.

• Discover Midpointe's peaceful countryside, scattered towns, and the majestic Skydweller's Mountain Ranges.

• Experience Southpointe's massive cityscapes, bustling entertainment districts, and sun-soaked coastal regions. It's also home to the Novalys Government.

Grimmark:

• Wander through The Old Woodlands, where ancient elven ruins tell tales of a forgotten era.

• Roam the lush valleys and rolling hills of Green Pastures, once the heart of elven agriculture.

• Brave the mysterious Known Canyon, carved by a legendary battle between humans and elves.

• Survive the harsh Red Waste, a vast desert surrounded by arid mountains.

Marshfell:

• Venture into treacherous swamplands where elven civilization first emerged.

The Seas:

• As the story progresses, you will be able to explore the seas by boat, which will let you reach new regions and explore the surrounding islands.

Cross borders seamlessly, exploring towns, ruins, grasslands, beaches, and snowy wastelands. Each region holds its own secrets, quests, and stories waiting to be discovered.

• Visit shops to purchase and equip a variety of clothing and gear to customize Ardlan’s look.

• Clothing doesn’t affect combat (unless imbued), allowing you to express yourself freely. Enhance select pieces with imbued effects to gain an edge in battle or give Ardlan a speed boost for example.

• The world of Sonara is filled with opportunity to earn coin. Engage in quests, jobs, fishing, farming, buying and selling and many more ways to fill your pockets with coin.

• Use your money to invest in houses or apartments, vehicles, gear and equipment.

Face the Leaks, monstrous manifestations of negative energy that plague the world of Sonara:

• Encounter various types of Leaks, each with unique abilities and behaviors.

• Learn the secrets behind their origin as you progress through your journey to eradicate them from existence.

Other Threats:

• Clash with hostile wildlife adapted to Sonara's diverse environments.

• Engage bandits and criminals who plague the roads between settlements.

• Discover unique monsters dwelling in ancient ruins and forgotten places, from the Frozen Waste to the Red Waste.
