Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«I have a BA in Game Art and a fanatic of survival crafting games in general. I decided to embark on this solo journey creating a survival game based a lot more on realism both in gameplay and visually. I've invested a lot of time creating a foundation to get the game at a stage where I'm comfortable releasing it as an alpha and receive feedback. I'm a strong believer of listening to the community and for that reason I will appreciate any feedback good or bad. In terms of updates any bugs that may ruin the experience of the player will take priority before continuing on with future features. The goal is to move forward not take one step forward and two steps back.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«Currently the game has a great foundation for me to work off of and start incorporating more mechanics, world resources, and replacing a lot of the place holders. I know there might be ideas from the community some of which I may like and implement so that will all play a role into the completion of the game.

I do plan on adding more people to the team to help speed up the process and once I feel the game is at a stable place with everything I had plan incorporated it will move on to full release. I'm aiming to have a full release roughly 12 months after the alpha launch.»

«At its current state the basic mechanics and gameplay that this genre typically has is incorporated. Below is a list of goals and current features that I plan on adding and expanding.

  • Have different ages - Starting out with primitive tools and resources, iron, and eventually electricity.
  • Expand on the current tools and weapons.
  • Create biomes with biome specific animals both passive and aggressive.
  • Make climate a factor within these biomes forcing you to adapt to the environment.
  • Expand on the AI for example your food may attract certain animals at night who could then eat it leaving you to starve.
  • Expanding on passive ways to get food rather than just being limited to farming I plan on adding animal traps etc.

«Currently the game is at a playable state with the basic mechanics listed below.

«The price will increase moderately once the game is released.»

«The community will play a big part in helping with bugs as well as giving feedback on the game and any features that I will take into consideration. Best way to stay in contact and give feedback would be through the Steam forums.»

Alone is all about surviving in a deserted island. Focused more on realistic survival and what you may expect in the real world. Forging, hunting, farming, crafting, and creating a shelter. Being able to supply enough food and water for yourself to survive is essential as well as protect yourself from the wildlife that occupy the island. Your goal is not to survival but to thrive.
