What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The game, as an engine to play charts - functions and can already be enjoyed / user content can be created to work with the engine.

Some features. like the built-in tracks, arcade-minigames, other game's format support and so on are still to be decided, because i want input from community, to understand which way should i really steer this project towards.

Another thing i'm really looking forward is input regarding all the different controllers people use, key-ranges, velocity etc. Would there be a pedal mechanic, for example? - Let's talk and figure it out together!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A safe bet would be 6 months or so, but depending on the extra scope i'm hoping to define via interaction with users - it might end up different”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More built-in charts in different genres are planned, mini-games will be playable (the number of minigames is planned to increase) and a form of "new user-generated content" service, perhaps through steam workshop is considered as a possible future feature”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“- Custom charts, Phase Shift Pro Keys charts and plain MIDI-files are playable in 2d and 3d modes
- Skins and backgrounds are partially customizable”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“"Price will not change when we leave early access"”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I hope for theme/custom chart submissions, as well as open discussions about possible additional mechanics/modes/chart visualisations (sheet music mode, for example)”
