«Nuclear drifter is an RPG game developed by a single developer since April 2020. The game has typical cRPG game functionality that is complex. Some of them are not finished yet. The game is playable. The story is not finished yet. I want to make the game available early because I want to get feedback from players about my game which will help me to fix bugs and glitches. «I plan to leave the game in early access for about six months to a year. The time depends on the number of planned changes, which may change during the work»

¿Qué diferencias habrá entre la versión completa y la versión de acceso anticipado?

«In the final version of the game the whole final level will be available. In the early version only a fragment of the final subway map is available. A boss fight is planned - the look of the boss is not yet known.

Currently the game has many quests but they are mainly main quests and there is only one side quest. In the final version there are plans to add more side quests. Now there are over 20 missions available and it takes about 3 hours to complete the game. Along with new quests there are new NPCs and new locations. Currently there are 8 locations in the game (mainly villages) and the 9th location - the subway.
I plan to add new items mainly for missions and items that heal. Possibly there will also be a new melee weapon. More than 30 items are available in early access.

I plan to continue working on the game after the official 1.0 release, fixing bugs and improving usability.»

«As it stands now, the game has the final map shape but not all locations are added yet. Currently there are 9 locations: 5 settlements, a bandit camp and an unfinished subway. The game has more than 20 missions, some of them can not be completed yet.

There is a turn-based combat system already implemented in the game, which is practically ready. This system may be slightly changed in the future.
There are currently 6 enemies in the game that can be killed in turn-based combat.

The game has several story choices, but the number of them will change over time. The game has a reputation system with 2 factions: US soldiers and Old Zealand settlers. Reputation grows together with accomplished quests.»

«With the release of the official version of the game, the price will not increase. The game will be free of charge all the time.»

¿Cómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo?

«I plan to improve all game systems through player feedback. These include the turn-based combat system, adding new character skills, and more. I am open to suggestions on story, quests and NPCs, but I will keep the suggestions in line with my ideas.

Players will be able to give us all feedback and ideas via the Steam forum and Twitter. I also plan to create a Discord server for players.»
