Why Early Access?

“We at HokaBento Studio strive to create the best games we can, realizing our vision to the best of our ability. To deliver the best product we can, Code.Breaker() still needs some time in the oven, but we also want players to experience what we have created so far.
For these reasons, we are planning to release the game chapter by chapter over the early access period for those who want to have a taste of the finished game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in early access until the full game release, which is estimated to be in Q4 2022.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Planned for the finished game is the finished story and hacking gameplay, naturally. Furthermore, the game will have date scenes where you have the chance to get to know the characters you meet in the story better, as well as learn more about the setting in general.
The game will also have custom synthwave soundtrack and high resolution pixelart.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access build includes now the first and second chapter of the story, complete with hacking gameplay and a first date. The date won't have all the dialogue options the full version will.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The games price will stay constant after early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be listening to community feedback over the steam community and strive to use the feedback given to make Code.Breaker() the best game it can be. For this, we will use reviews and social media, where we will post polls and development updates.”
