„The Forest Prison needs a lot more polish before we consider it done. Our game is community focused and Early Access is the best opportunity to continue its development alongside players. The community will be involved in all stages of development and can provide us with feedback and suggestions in Steam discussions as well as on our Discord server.”

„The core loop and features are all in place. You can move, open and traverse portals, pick boulders and level up. Right now, only the first 18 levels are ready.

Virtually all of the basic functionality is present and functional, but, for example, the user interface are still under development and may be a little rough in some areas.

So, while the game already has many functioning mechanics, it lacks a bit of polish and crucial gameplay elements. We plan to add a lot more content to the game. This includes over 80 new levels, cosmetics and any other content we get suggested from community feedback.”

„We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features. We will increase the price every 10 new levels we add, until we rich the target of around 80 levels.”

„Suggestions and feedback have always been very valuable for the development of The Forest Prison. Often times the levels made by the community lets us discover new ways the game can be played which we can then develop further.”

Despre acest joc

The Forest Prison is a FPS action puzzle that gets the player to engage in an immersive single-player campaign across 18 levels.
Based on a completely fictional story and characters, The Forest Prison tells the gripping story of a detainee who tries to pass
the tests imposed by the management of a prison from which no one has ever escaped alive.

The prison is located in a heavy wooded mountain area and has 18 sections. You can escape from a section using only 3 tools:

- a weapon that opens portals between predefined places
- a capsule that opens portals between any two points
- boulders that can be used to open doors

There are several methods by which you can complete a level and it is up to you to find the optimal path. Even if the rules are simple,
you must always be careful how you use the tools you have because it is very easy to get stuck in a certain area if you do not follow
the right steps.

It took us many months of hard work and dedication to create The Forest Prison. We had an exciting time developing The Forest Prison and
hope you will have the same fun playing it.
