What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our vision for Aebal is to enable anybody to enjoy their own personal bullet hell. We believe that such a platform should be open to the song of your choice, not a per-determined set of tracks and tunes. This is allowing us to be different by being more open.

We are committed to creating the most exciting and dynamic bullet hell visualizer game. Your feedback will shape how Aebal grows and what it becomes. Your feedback is important to us. So please, go crazy because we know you're Aebal.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have been changing Aebal from its original state constantly. Making Adjustments, adding features, and solving some of the trickiest programming issues we have seen. We do want to say that we have big ideas for this game that we must accomplish before we leave Early Access; with that being said, there is no official release date yet.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Aebal will be a game that we want to see everywhere, that includes the mobile market too. However there is a lot of fine tuning we must do before we can make that a reality. Aebal's current stage is playable, but nothing like the huge plans we have for it. Expect huge changes like more attack patterns, a better UI, customization, and more! Please stay tuned for updates!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In its current state, Aebal Is at its barebones. Currently there are 12 attack patterns, a basic UI, and full custom song functionality. Aebal may seem polished, but we have big ambitions. We want to make this a game that everyone plays and enjoys, but currently we are limited to 1 player. Regardless even now Aebal is enjoyed by plenty of people and we cant be more excited to make it more desirable. We currently have very limited UI and that is our current focus.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community is a big factor with Aebal because we expect and encourage competition. We plan on holding tournaments and events for Aebal players to show they're style and how much they enjoy the game. We take every bit of feedback very seriously so we can properly adjust the game until the community feels its just right. We include several tools to help you enjoy Aebal, like streamer tools, and soon in the future, creation tools.
You can provide feedback in our Discord (coming soon)”
