Miksi Early Access?

MINDHACK is a visual novel game planned to have 8~9 chapters in total, with each chapter further forming and developing its characters.
During Early Access, players can experience the beginning chapters of MINDHACK’s story. As we continue to release new content for the game, we would like for our fans and the community to provide feedback for its development.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We are planning to release new chapters during 2023~2024 without a set schedule, along with regular updates to gameplay throughout the same period.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

In the Early Access version, players will be able to experience the beginning to middle stages of MINDHACK’s story for themselves. We will release new chapters as well as update and improve gameplay and other features during the Early Access period.
Early Access is planned to end upon the release of the final chapter.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

As of its release, the Early Access version includes content up to Chapter 3, covering the beginning to middle stages of the game.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The game will be inexpensive priced at during Early Access. Once players buy the game, they will be able to receive updates for free during the Early Access period.
We plan to increase the pricing upon its final release.

We are looking for community feedback from Steam and social media such as Twitter. We will also place a survey form on the MINDHACK official development blog so that players can send feedback to us.

MINDHACK is a text adventure game where you change evildoers into happy-go-lucky saints.

You are the “Doctor”, a genius hacker who can destroy minds with the power of programming.
Meet unique evildoers and hack their minds to rewrite them into happy people.
No matter how heinous they are, they’ll turn into docile sheep once they’ve been in your hands!

WORLD

The story of MINDHACK is set in a world based on both fantasy and our modern society. Meet characters with unique appearances and backgrounds, like a sea urchin who also happens to be a gang leader, a fanatic of a cult religion who believes that he’s a cabinet, a monster from outer space, and even a fatal glitch plotting the end of the world…!?
Hack such evildoers, rewrite their minds, and reform them into benign citizens!

STORY

You are the Doctor, whose duty is to remove BUGs: destructive impulses that hide within people’s souls. Along with a supercomputer and a security force, you fight day and night at an institution created solely to deal with these BUGs!
Will you be able to defeat the catastrophic BUG, the “FATAL ERROR”, before it destroys the world…!?

Interact with a unique cast of characters!
During the adventure portion, you will meet and interact with various evildoers in a dystopian world. All of the characters have unique and tricky personalities. The main character’s hands are always displayed on the game screen, embellishing your conversations with vibrant animation.

Type to change evildoers for good!
During the hacking portion, you will type out code to unlock an evildoer’s memories and explore their past. As you read through their memories, you may find that people aren’t as they seem…? After you understand who they really are, a typing sequence will begin in order to rewrite their mind. Type out keywords connected to their souls and turn them into flowers, changing the evildoer into a harmless and benign person!
