Varför Early Access?

“We chose to release Subspace Discovery into Access because we want you, the player, to be involved in the development process. Your voice counts and we want to make sure that the game is made for you. Early Access allows us to test game mechanics and server technology with a larger player base and gather valuable feedback from our community.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We currently expect Subspace Discovery to be in Early Access until the end of 2024. However, based on development progress and player feedback, we will adjust the game and timeline to ensure the best possible experience. We will update this estimate accordingly.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“Our plan is to make combat more tactical by adding active and passive skills for you to utilize. Additionally, we plan to expand on the weekly world events and continue to improve these features, along with others, throughout Early Access, into the full version of the game, and beyond.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The current state of Subspace Discovery is fully playable with most features already implemented. This includes, but is not limited to: Exploration, Combat, Mining, Research, Custom Ships, Base-Building, Corporation, World-Events
However, these features are not yet refined and we are working to improve them. Our game has been in development since 2018 and uses a custom engine for the game and custom servers. Everything is optimized to run fast and to use as little RAM or disk space as possible, resulting nearly no loading times. We want to include as many players as possible, by reducing the minimum system requirements as much as possible, while allowing to scale up as needed.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“During Early Access, we offered the Subspace Pioneer package, which will soon be phased out in favor of the Subspace License. The Subspace License will provide a low-cost, non-recurring monthly access to more advanced features of the game, allowing players to start playing for free and dive deeper if desired.
Our current plan is to keep the pricing roughly the same during Early Access. Additional in-game purchases might be added throughout development and post-launch. Our aim is to provide a fair landscape for all players to enjoy and support each other. However, as we consider community feedback, the final pricing structure may evolve.”

“We want to involve you, our players and community, in our development process by starting with using Steam Discussions Forums and Discord. These platforms will allow us to communicate with you and gather valuable feedback to help us improve the game. We encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas with us so that we can create the best possible experience for everyone.”
