“Godstone is at a stage in development where it contains the first and biggest act of the game in its near-finished state, and I want to include the community in the development of the rest of Godstone. The whole project has always been shaped around community feedback, and the rest of the game will be no different.”

“Godstone is set to be in the early access state for 2 years.”

“The early access version currently contains act 1 in its near-finished state with act 2 planned to be added in the future. The full version is planned to release with the third and final act to connect the whole thing together and finish the story.”

“The current early access contains the first act, the Ruins with over 100 handcrafted levels full of secrets and challenges, a multitude of bosses, a main hub with interactable NPC's, a large prologue with multiple story-altering choices that also affects the main game, quests, permanent unlockables such as playable characters, side dungeons and more.”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“The game is set at a lower price for the early access, and will increase on full game release as it will have much more content at that time.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“I always listen to community feedback daily through Discord, the Community Hub etc and shape the game around their input where it makes sense. These include bug reports, balancing issues, quality of life, cool ideas and more. We have even had community contests where the best monster design would become an enemy in the actual game. The feedback given will affect the development of the second and third act as I want these to be as good as they can possibly get, and this can really only happen by including the community's feedback in the development.”

Godstone is a roguelike dungeoncrawler set in a dark fantasy world. Rumors have emerged across the land of a godstone hidden deep beneath the ruined city of Palathian - an instrument said to hold unlimited power.

Kingdoms, clans and dynasties gather at the city, waging war amongst each other to claim it, unknowing of what it truly is.

You play as Gerion, a deserter who seeks a new future guided by a cloaked friend. But your paths twist, and end in unexpected turns and betrayal.
Now the only path of survival is to find the godstone and claim it before those who would use it to destroy your kind.

Fight massive bosses:
Test yourself in the battle against massive bosses with each their unique playstyle. With a final boss at each area including multiple minibosses, plenty of epic battles await within the wailing ruins.
Create Builds:
Synergy is the backbone of Godstone. Find items, consumables, spells and weapons to best the challenges ahead.
Exploration:
Palathian is full of secrets, hidden doors and fake walls leading to new paths, treasures and stories. Exploration is heavily rewarded.
An evolving story:
Experience a deep story where the actions you take in-game alters how it plays out. These choices, big or small, each matter and can affect things way into the late game in unexpected ways.
