„We have been developing Grim Tranquility for 2 years with a core group of developers. We are excited to start showing the world what we have been working on.

Unlike many AAA studios, we do not have an external publisher. So we want to ensure there is time to incorporate feedback the community has into our game.”

„Currently we are hoping for a Q4 release, but the amount (and focal points) of community feedback may increase that.

Our hope is to take the time needed to bring the game we have been working on to the world and have it be something people are excited to experience.”

„The Early Access build -- upon the initial release -- is approximately 25% of the full game experience. The first world, Garden of Wolves, is the first content we want people to experience. We are hard at work on finishing the later levels, but want to get some initial feedback and critique so that we know the areas people are most interested in.

Later features that we plan to show in future builds:

- 3 more full worlds, each with their own biome, aliens, and unique effects.
- A complete alien bestiary (comprised of new art & descriptions for all aliens in the game)
- Complete VO for all main narrative stories, as well as some side quests.
- A more robust moonlighting (side quest) system featuring deeper stories that tie back into the main narrative & a player's progress through it
- Many more skills & abilities for later levels (15+)
- Social Assist: This is our semi-multiplayer feature, which allows players to help out others asynchronously. You may be asked to help in the Intergalactic War by donating credits or gear. This may help NPCs, but may also go to other players. Similarly, you will be able to proactively ask for help yourself and receive it in the future.”

Care este starea actuală a versiunii aflate în acces timpuriu?

„The entire first chapter, Garden of Wolves, is available for play today.
A player will see our Chapter Select screen, so you can see the upcoming levels; in future releases these will be available once a player has completed Garden of Wolves at least once.

There are 5 unique mission types available, as well as settlements where you can upgrade your gear, pick up or turn in moonlighting quests, recruit new heroes to replace those who have fallen, and try your luck with our Social Assist feature (though it is based on randomness and not yet multiplayer)”

„The game will gradually increase as we ship new content and feature.
There is no plan for this price increase; we believe it will be at least 6 months before we would consider this.”

„We interact with our community typically via our social media channels, our discord, or the Poorly Timed Games reddit. We know how players wish to interact with devs can vary, so we try to provide a number of options.

Our community team monitors our social channels daily and we plan to schedule regular updates so that the Community understands both the current state of the game, our medium term goals, and remaining large features and their status.”
