What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“While the core mechanics of Ecila are ready, the game still has the potential to grow and develop a lot. Early Access is just the perfect place for it.
We hope that letting players experience with Ecila and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“ECILA will be in development for at least one full year during Early Access and to complete all planned features and content. However, additional community requests and ideas might shift the final release date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes combat-related mechanics, basic trading systems, and simple community functionality.
The supply-and-demand model of goods and items is limited to some composition related to supply, and we further plan to add contents that fit for use with the acquired items and goods.
The game story related to the addition of future contents are subject to change, along with a major change in quest configuration and story development.
In case of adding item usages and if the power attributes of the character differ from the previous attributes, then the abilities of items, characters and monsters may be changed too.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is stable and has no game breaking bugs.
However, as this is not the full release, there are definitely rough edges in the UI, some bugs, and not much in terms of a tutorial so expect to spend some time learning the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change during Early Access except for discounts. The price is likely to increase after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will communicate with the player through the Steam Forum. Currently, we will provide services through Steam, and the nearest community for Steam users to access is Steam Forum.
We will check every possible message on the forum and post comments if we need answers or need to exchange views.”

About This Game

'We’re all mad here.'
Welcome to the world of strange fairy tales.
We have created a deformed world where soft, harmless-looking fairy tale characters exist.
There are fairy tale characters in the world that do not die even if they fall. Also, there's some helpers to help you.
In your adventures, you will discover a tangled fairy tale story, acquire various items for the adventure, and reach the truth and ending of the story hidden in a higher level of difficulty.

Run, jump, fight with your friends
Ecila is a 3d side scroll + MMO online game.

Use the keyboard to move, run, jump, and use skills.
Moving to the direction key and jumping to the S key, hunting monsters on the hill and moving forward to avoid traps.
The skills acquired when leveled up are invoked more strongly when the key is pressed at the right time.
Automatically, you can run and fight and use potions and skills. However, action skills are not automatically available.

You have to change three weapons: one-handed sword, two-handed sword, and bow.
Monsters are resistant to one of the three weapons, so they are not damaged.
Monsters who are strong against the bow do not collapse no matter how many times they attack with the bow, so they have to be attacked with one-handed or two-handed swords.
Register 3 weapons, armor, and costumes in advance for presets and fight while replacing them at the right time.

Play games online by collaborating with other users through parties, guilds, and transactions.
Invite your friends to the game.
