„We are excited to provide Perry the Pumpkin to everyone! The reason we decided upon Early Access was that we wanted players to start playing it as soon as possible. The Early Access release includes the entire first chapter of our game! We wanted everyone to be able to start playing our game and know that their feedback will be heard. We have some ambitious plans to expand this game further with more content and gameplay, and we believe that the community can help us realize this goal. Our vision includes other chapters, more puzzles, and additional NPC characters to interact with. We’ve seen other games that have been successful by working closely with the feedback of players, and we think that this approach might also help us to make this the best game that it can be.”

Aproximativ cât timp se va afla acest joc în acces timpuriu?

„Our plan is to have our game in Early Access for about six months. We feel that six months should be enough time to provide us with good feedback to help complete the game and fully launch it. Once it is fully launched, we want to let everyone know that we plan to continue to support and develop the game after it has been fully released.”

„The full version of the game will feel like a complete story, and it will contain the additional content, NPC, and gameplay to make it a full release. Planned additional components include: Additional levels or gameplay, new powerups, accessibility options, new abilities, new worlds, new enemies (and bosses), and new attacks.”

Care este starea actuală a versiunii aflate în acces timpuriu?

„The Early Access release provides us with an opportunity to introduce the main plot and expand upon the issues that are going on. The story will begin to reveal itself as you progress through the game. You can look forward to unraveling the mysteries that are part of this world. This will occur by meeting strange and unique characters as you uncover different areas of the game map. Also, learn new magical abilities and confront different types of enemies.

This initial release essentially has only one world/chapter to it. In future releases, we plan to add more chapters and worlds for Perry to explore. The gameplay will be similar to what is available in the early access release, but these new areas will require Perry to have different magical abilities in order to navigate through them. For example, Perry spits out magical pumpkin seeds as his primary weapon, but these other areas may have Perry utilize other attacks.

The framework of the game is mostly in place. The only thing left is to create more content. Players should get a good idea of what to expect from the full version because the first section of the game is complete.

The game essentially feels like how the full release should feel. There is one world that contains several areas with a variety of different enemies. Each area has a different theme and set of enemies associated with it. There is also a main town area that contains entertaining NPCs and tasks/puzzles to figure out. There is also a boss fight. The full release will include more of this type of content, but we want to expand upon the variety and themes presented in the Early Access version. Basically, we plan on more items, abilities, enemies, bosses, and worlds to explore.”

„We plan on having a higher price when the full release is available. The early access release will have a discounted price, but it will also allow you to have access to future versions as well. The planned final release should be more than twice as large as the Early Access version. We will attempt to clearly communicate with everyone if there is a price change. „We want to provide people with as many opportunities to engage us as possible. We want to hear feedback on all elements of the game including gameplay, story, and technical stability. Our plan is to listen to feedback from the community to refine the game as much as possible.

For example, we want to know what everyone thinks about the gameplay. Is it too difficult or not difficult enough? Or is it too soft like a Jack O'Lantern in November? Our ears are open, and we want to hear from you. We want to take this valuable feedback and apply it directly to the development of the game.
