Strawberry Samurai is a samurai-themed action platformer with metroidvania elements. This vertical slice was created for my CMSCI Senior Project at University.

  • Fast combat with an emphasis on juicy gore
  • A bushel of fruity enemies to beat to a pulp
  • An interconnected world with light metroidvania elements
  • A handful of abilities to gain - aiding in both traversal and combat
  • Platforming and light puzzles
  • Japanese themed environments
  • One hour of content
  • Oh, and bathe in the juice of your enemies



Slice and dice rotten fruit, take your revenge on invading foes, and fight back against those who have wronged you, all with your trusty samurai sword. Explore flowery plains, grassy mountains, infected caves, and more, unlocking further areas and hidden secrets as your repertoire of abilities grows. Strawberry Samurai combines the quick and simple combat of Hollow Knight with the visceral blood and gore of games like Hotline Miami.
