What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“While I want feedback, bugs reports, ideas and criticism in general, I especially require feedback to aid in:
- Refining and improving the level design
- Fleshing out the story/plot
- Settling on a genre and finding music for the soundtrack
- Improving the gameplay loop so that it's more challenging without being frustrating”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to release the full version before the end of 2025, after that I'll continue working on the game and adding extra content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“- A main campaign with around 8 hours of gameplay, depending on the player's skill level
- Extra challenge levels, around 2 hours of extra gameplay
- More level locations, weapons, art assets, enemy types and abilities required for the 8 hour campaign
- A more user friendly and polished level editor, with Steam Workshop integration
- Boss fights, with bosses that behave differently to the regular enemies
- Two animated cut scenes, one for the intro and one for the outro
- A soundtrack, ambient sound effects, as well as more foley sound effects”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“- 6 campaign levels + 2 challenge levels, up to 2 hours of gameplay depending on the player's skill level
- A level editor to create custom levels (the campaign and challenge levels are made with the level editor)
- 7 sets of art assets themed around each level (Forest, Casino, Lab, Mansion, Museum, Nightclub, House)
this includes art for the furniture/props, enemy appearance, terrain and architecture
- 16 weapons used by both the player and enemies
- 3 supernatural abilities available to the player. Level design is based on the abilities used in that level
- Enemies that can coordinate searches, patrol, flank, check corners and more
- 5 special enemy types with unique behaviours and abilities”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, during Early Access I will periodically increase the price as it nears full release, to reflect the amount of content and level of polish.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“- Communicating with players via Discord, Steam Community Hub forums, and other social media
- Listening to feedback, ideas, bug reports and criticism
- Collaborating with the community on level design via custom levels made in the level editor
- Using the Steam API (Steam User Stats) to inform game design. For example this can be used to identify pain points, such as levels that players get stuck on and quit”
