Why Early Access?

“Early access will allow dialogue with the community while the game content is being expanded and finalized.

Since I began the development in 2020, Side Effect has received feedback from a small group of early-testers and streamers who brought fresh ideas that were instrumental during the game’s early days. I enjoyed implementing concepts that I hadn’t thought about and reviewing mechanics which required balancing. Side Effect being a rogue-like, any added content will guarantee a new experience each time around.

“Approximately 10 months are required for the planned content. But depending on players' feedback and requested features, it might take longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“About full version, I plan to implement new levels, spells, items, and classes.”
