„Among the Trolls entered Early Access under the previous development team, who laid a strong foundation for the game. With the change in development studio and the transition to Unreal Engine 5, we’ve refined our vision and expanded on their excellent work. Continuing in Early Access allows us to gather invaluable community feedback, improve core mechanics, and ensure the game delivers the best possible survival experience while exploring Finnish mythology.“

„We estimate the Early Access phase will progress until we are confident the game is ready for a strong 1.0 release. The transition to a new development studio and the switch from Unity to Unreal Engine 5 extended the timeline, but these changes have allowed us to significantly enhance the game. Our commitment remains to deliver a polished and complete experience“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„The Early Access version of Among the Trolls will launch with its first chapter, while the 1.0 release will advance and conclude the storyline. Future updates will expand the map, introduce new skills, features and storylines and build on the strong foundation established during EA. The 1.0 version will deliver a complete and enriched experience - we plan to remain in Early Access until we are confident we have a strong 1.0 candidate.

Our initial estimate is to reach that stage by mid-2026.“

„The Early Access version of Among The Trolls delivers an immersive survival experience set in a richly detailed world with a dynamic day/night cycle and weather systems featuring sun, rain, and other weather conditions. Players can explore diverse environments, engage with a fully implemented survival system (health, hunger, thirst), and utilize crafting, building, and 3D inventory systems. This Early Access build provides a robust foundation for the game, with future updates planned to expand its scope and content.“

„While no final decisions have been made, it’s likely that the price will increase as we gradually introduce new content and move closer to the full release.“

Our official Discord serves as a key space for sharing feedback and we also monitor conversations on our Steam discussion section, along with other public channels where the game is being discussed. We aim to implement ongoing updates and improvements based on the insights we receive from players: their feedback is essential in helping us shape Among the Trolls into the best experience possible.“
