Why Early Access?

“Early access at its most basic level allows us to gain direct feedback and insight from fans. Bot Wars is still at a point where it could radically evolve from its current state and we want to see what direction players want us to go in.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current timeframe would roughly be a year... theoretically.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main thing we hope to have implemented in the final game would be a campaign mode of some form. As well as additional skirmish maps. Beyond that polishing up present mechanics and models is of high priority to us.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, most core features are present allowing the player to play almost entirely in tactical mode or as a standard shooter in first or third person. along with this, a fleshed-out tutorial and a skirmish mode That allows the player to choose from four different levels and five factions. Currently the only game type present is a base capture mode.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, there will be a small price increase upon the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on having a very active relationship with our community. As our studio's first project, it's very important to us that we establish ourselves as being active and responsive to our community. We have multiple social media pages and a discord any of which people can use to report bugs or give us feedback.”
