Varför Early Access?

“Game is currently in development as I work between jobs! Updates to the game will occur as regularly as possible with a full time job. More content, locations, quests, items, and the completion of the story arc will be added as the game moves towards the full version. Future updates will also be based upon community feedback via the Steam Forums.

The game being in Early Access allows me to work more with the community before the release of the full game, and will result in a more polished final version.”

The Early Access version is roughly three fourths of the complete experience. Running on the RPG Maker MV edition, the game offers the classic turn-based fantasy RPG experience combined with the occasional vulgar debauchery.

The Midnight Wind is a sarcastic single-player pixel art RPG following the story of four hosts of the souls of a dead star. The story loosely takes place in Indonesia, where players will embark on a bare-bones journey to protect themselves and their people. The four hosts are named Altara, Osmos, Nabur, and Torren Voldusaya, the bratty children of a royal family.

The game currently includes

  • 200 different enemies to encounter

- 260 different weapons and armors to equip

- 12 characters to play as

- Approximately 20 hours of gameplay

- 200+ different items to collect

- "Interesting" dialogue

Current version 1.8 Beta. Full version coming soon.
