The early access release of equilibrium features a full tutorial mode where, objective by objective, core gameplay mechanics and features are introduced to the player. Keep the planet in "Equilibrium" by keeping the population happy, the atmosphere breathable, and the planetary temperature suitable for human life to thrive. Extinguish forest fires, plant new forests, balance global energy output and consumption.

The early access release of equilibrium does not feature the sandbox gameplay mode.

There are likely to be bugs present, and with the larger updates there will also be a possibility of save games becoming incompatible and possibly wiped.“
