Why Early Access?

“We intend to listen to the player feedback and tweak/fine tune the movement system we have created as for Pulsar 174 the character movement is the core of the gameplay.

We will also be asking what environments players would like to experience, allowing us to create a super immersive platformer that the fans had a part to play in creating.”

“2 Years”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In terms of content we plan to have more zones to go along with new mechanics and also expand upon the current zone.

We also intend to expand upon the character movement system to make movement more fluid and give you more options to tackle challenges.

Other features we plan to include are online leader boards so you can try beat your steam friends scores.

We also plan to expand the player customisation.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This current version features The Ancient Ruins, currently with 12 timed challenges hidden throughout the zone.

You can find 3 power ups to increase your suits air jumps.

Find a blue keycard to explore the second area of The Ancient Ruins. ”

   Now - Month 1:

  • Building out the rest of Ancient Ruins

  • Adding several more air jump challenges.

    Month 2:

  • Building out the new Dash area that will have a different theme

  • Tweaking the dash mechanic to suit the level design

 Month 3 - 4:

  • Develop the Gun Upgrade System

    • Unlockable weapon mods and firing modes

    • Gun points system refinement

    • Visual/audio feedback for upgrades

Ongoing:

  • New Challenges added to Ancient Ruins zone

    • Regular challenge drops throughout Early Access

    • Balance passes and performance-based rewards (ranks, unlocks)

 Month 5+:

  • Introduce New Locations

    • Unique biomes with themed visuals and soundtracks

    • New enemies, hazards, and movement mechanics

    • Fresh challenges built around each location’s identity
