«It's our first big project and we know, that after the Early Access release, we will have to make a lot of changes.

The most valuable reason for Early Access is that we want to develop our studio's first PC game, Corsairs Legacy, in tandem with ongoing community feedback. We use a lot of events to track engagement, retention, and services for tracking crashes as well as staying in touch with our community. So we are going to work on the quality of the project and finalising game mechanics.

Once we’ve reached our plans, we can officially leave Early Access.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«We're expecting to be in Early Access for no longer than 2 years. As development progresses, we will share ongoing updates in devlogs that will help determine a more specific timeline for the game's release from Early Access.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«We plan for the Early access release to include only half of the story (10 hours of gameplay) with main mechanics (freeplay, sea battles, boarding, RPG part with quests on Barbados and Tobago). And we plan to add 10 more hours of story-driven gameplay in the full release (we plan to add the new islands on sea battle and RPG modes, new locations, new mechanics in a second part).»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«We developed half of the game and core mechanics, such as land and sea combat, sailing in the sea on a ship, completing missions, and more. But in order to develop the main story missions, new locations and large-scale battles at sea, we need to collect as much feedback from players about the gameplay as possible. Based on feedback from the audience, we will plan further work and necessary changes in game mechanics.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«We plan to raise the price when we leave early access as we ship new content and features.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«We already have 30 devlogs (where we tell our community about the development progress) and an active community of 10,000+ people, that giving us feedback and we are using it to make the game better. It is important for us to develop directly with the participation of the community.

We plan to engage with players on Discord, YouTube, and our official website. We’ll also have tools available to take player feedback and bug reports inside the game.»
