What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want feedback from the players! Mori Carta is a game that attempts to simplify the mechanics of deckbuilding roguelikes while maintaining a high level of complexity, and we feel we have done something special in that space. But we need the help of the community to further hone the experience and make the best game that we can.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are a team of moonlighters, working on Mori Carta in our spare time. We have a deep passion for this project and we want to give it our all. After hearing feedback from the community we are now considering a release in Q1 of 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to bring:
-An additional 2 playable classes (for a total of 5)
-Many more Companions to experience
-Additional end game content
-And even more cards”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“-There are 3 playable classes to unlock.
-These classes can go on “Wild Runs” to find Companions who need your help.
-There are 3 companion runs to experience on release, with many more planned.
-And if you’re able to help the companions complete their quest, they will in turn help you on a “Long Walk,” which will give players a glimpse of the end game content of Mori Carta.
-75+ playable cards for each playable class
-150+ enemies to fight with unique cards of their own
-And much more..!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect the price to go up with the increase of content and quality.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to have regular livestreams on Twitch where players can talk with the development team about new and future features. We look forward to players joining our Discord for further discussion.”
