Wozu Early Access?

„The game has potential to grow a full narrative campaign. This campaign would require greater enemy variety, challenging bosses, and creative level design. VR is still a relatively young genre, so we would like to build a community that participates in the game's development because VR experiences can be very idiosyncratic, especially with different motion sickness tolerances and evolving controls/UI design standards. People within the VR community have very strong preferences and opinions on how controls and movement should be done, and that greatly impacts the gameplay's design. We want to take those preferences and opinions in the design of our game.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„Approximately 1 year with the goal of delivering a "full" campaign experience. We plan on adding feature-complete campaign levels one at a time that will take approximately 1 month each to build.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„The early access version features arcade challenge levels with the base combat and movement mechanics. The full version will add new campaign levels each featuring it's own environment and boss while incorporating the enemy roster already introduced in the early access version as well as adding new enemy types and player weapons.“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„The current version already features a complete combat system with a small but robust enemy variety. There is only one environment where all the arcade levels take place. Each level features a different combination of enemies and environmental hazards. Players progress through each level until all levels are achieved. As of now there are only 11 levels.“

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„The game will be priced higher as more content is added. Each new level added will proportionally increase the price based on the "size" of the new level relative to game's current "size".“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„We will communicate with the community through forums (i.e. Steam and Reddit) and chat (i.e. Discord). They will participate by suggesting weapon types, cosmetic changes, and environmental challenges to be added to the game. Enemy types, bosses, and narrative is where the developer offers a mystery and surprise value to the player, so we will keep the development of those elements fairly private. Communication will occur as frequently as we take each suggestion, showcase our implementations of those suggestions, and take feedback for those implementations.“
