«Apsis Online has been developed and distributed as freeware for over almost a decade of its development from a custom-built singleplayer game into what we are calling a "multi-user roguelike". While the game is playable with interactable npcs, exploration and combat present. It's also the catalyst for a much richer experience: like deeper interactions, procedurally generated and player-driven stories that you could be a a part of.»

Apsis Online is an ambitious, multi-user roguelike in which every decision has weight. Players carve out their own existence in a living, breathing sci-fi economy, complete with corporate intrigue, political upheaval, and real-time emergent storytelling. Will you rise to power as a corporate mogul, orchestrating hostile takeovers and stock market plays? Will you command fleets in war, reshaping the balance of power? Or maybe you’ll just open a bar, pour drinks, and listen to the rumors of a galaxy in motion.
