„Still working on getting this game to its full potential. A roadmap will be provided to follow progress but it should be in a fun and playable state. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!“

„Once all the main floors are done I'll remove it from early access, so maybe a year as I'm working alone. Although even once that's finished, I plan to still do updates/events for the game!“

„I want the environment to feel like it's really adapting and unique every time you play, almost as if AURORA really is making changes and learning all the time. The final version should have all the floors done and multiple more RDLs to interact with, along with more lore building.“

„The game is playable up to 4 players stable, though you should be able to fit in a few more. There are 2 out of 6 floors available currently, and 1 stable procedural gen'd dungeon. There are other features available as well such as merging items together, finding some hidden lore, and endless "roguelike" like progression.“

RDL (Restoration Directive Labs) is a multiplayer (or single-subject) horror game set in a decaying research facility governed by AURORA, an AI created from the minds of the world’s top scientists. Once meant to restore the planet, AURORA’s conclusion was simple: remove human error.

You awaken deep underground, one of many cloned researchers known as RDLers.
Your task: gather artifacts, complete facility tasks, and appease the system that’s slowly losing its sanity.

Every run through the lab’s shifting floors reveals new rooms, new entities, and new ways to fail your directive.

🧭 Procedural Floors
No two expeditions are alike. Each level is built from randomized room modules.

👁️ AURORA, the Facility AI
Guides you. Judges you. Occasionally apologizes. Fully reactive to your progress and failure, and even what you whisper under your breath.

💀 Unique Entities
Each RDL specimen has its own behavior and detection logic, designed meticulously by AURORA.

🔬 Merge Machine Crafting
Combine recovered items to form unstable devices, tools, or living prototypes. Results may vary.

💬 Voice Interaction System
Use built-in proximity chat and experimental AI speech recognition to talk to AURORA. Understanding not guaranteed.

🧩 Solo or Co-op Research
Play alone for isolation-horror tension, or with up to 8 subjects for teamwork-driven chaos.

🧠 Persistent Progression
Unlock new facility logs over multiple runs. Each escape (or death) contributes to the greater understanding of the RDL facility.
