„We estimate Gone Upstate will be in Early Access between 8-12 months. This depends on the support from our community.“

„Our vision for the full version is to include a story with characters and places of interest among towns and shops. We would also like the further expand the resources gathering and crafting to include things like mining, terrain alteration and include automated ways of crafting and economy generation. During Early Access the map, optimization and level of polish will evolve.“

„We have the core sandbox mechanics and game loops ready in Gone Upstate for Early Access. You can gather, craft and buy/sell resources, hunt animals, plant and harvest crops, build houses and structures, buy and sell land for expansion while maintaining classic survival elements like hunger, sleep and health.

There are likely to be bugs present, and with the larger updates there is also a possibility of save games becoming incompatible and possibly wiped.“
