What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“NobleEscape was built to release in Early Access. This game was designed around the idea of adding new features as we're growing our community. We personally think that early access is a great way to not only grow our community but to get the community feedback we need to help the game finish. We think that the one thing we're missing from our game is the communities feedback and your thoughts and feelings towards our game. We would love to hear the communities opinions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“NobleEscape should be seen out of Early Access before the summer of 2021. We don't plan to create a big game, but we plan to create a game that is enjoyable for our community and something that you can spend hours playing. Depending on traction, Early access could be spread out to add other modes such as local multiplayer and/or co-op play.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“When NobleEscape releases in Early Access, the game will have features there, but will not be complete. There may still be bugs that we have to fix, along with features that we have to fully fix and/or re-code.
We hope that our full release version of the game will be completely different than the early access release and something that is almost unrecognisable compared to our early access version. There is a plan in place to also release multiple DLC add on content to allow for players that want more of the game, as well as that we have also planned a multiplayer co-op mode that will be worked on if the funding is there.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of NobleEscape is very playable, and is indeed enjoyable to some players. The game can seem a bit bland and plain after a while, this is hence why it's early access. We have a full list of features we plan to release within the early access period.

The game is indeed on the way to a full release title, but needs this early access time to append the updates. In the current games state, the game has all of the basic framework features that you would need to enjoy the game and have a taste of what it will be when it fully releases. We currently have all of the features we want in the game, it's just now about adding to the features and adding more of what the community wants in the game, not just what we want.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of our product is very important to us, which means that if we do end up working on a bigger update, such as full multiplayer, the price may rise up depending on the funding we already have. We don't plan for the price to rise, but may do if we deem it necessary.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on involving our community within the development process as we're open to all concerns that you have. If you have found any bugs, you may visit our website which is linked on our Steam store page. The community is the most important part of this game for us, and we really love to see what you think of the game.”
