„It's been a while since we've thought first about Construction Playground: an interactive construction site that gives players the chance to operate exciting construction vehicles and tools - a childhood dream for many of us. Thanks to VR, this dream can now become reality. Getting feedback from the community has been very important for us in the past - and we want to continue asking for your feedback with this game as well.
We've created a first version of Construction Playground and want to go the final stretch of making the game together with our community. That's why we have decided to move the last months of development into Early Access: to receive even more feedback which we will apply to our game - feedback we appreciate and rely on.”

Aproximativ cât timp se va afla acest joc în acces timpuriu?

„While we don't know an exact release date just yet, we're planning to add several smaller updates to the game and to finish it within a few months.”

Cum se va diferenția versiunea completă de cea disponibilă în acces timpuriu?

„At the start of Early Access, the game will contain about 60 percent of the planned game. With each update, we're adding another chunk of content. These features are planned for the game:
• SITE TRAILER
Implemented in the first version: gives you access to the construction site and to other locations later on, depending on the DLC you have purchased. You can also adjust your settings here.

• TOWER CRANE
Implemented in the first version: you can turn the tower crane and raise/release its hook. That's how you move items from one spot to another.

• HAMMER
Implemented in the first version: a jackhammer or a heavy hammer that allows you to tear down or destroy a wall.
Planned for Early Access: you can move around and pick up the debris.

• BRICKLAYING
Implemented in the first version: you can build a wall by basic brick laying.
Planned for Early Access: bricks can "snap" to their correct location, additionally, you can use a trowel to add concrete.

• SOUND
Implemented in the first version: you can hear several standard sounds.
Planned for Early Access: additional sounds and a choice of atmospheric sounds in the settings.

• ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Planned for Early Access: you can choose whether you are on site during the day or at night. Hard hats are mandatory on a construction site, and you will be able to see which one you are wearing on screen. There will be different hard hat colors.

• TUTORIAL & USER GUIDE
Implemented in the first version: there's a brief user guide that explains the basics.
Planned for Early Access: an illustrated user guide will tell you how to use vehicles and tools.

• OPTIMIZED FOR VR HEADSETS
Supported in the first version: HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows MR
Planned for Early Access: support and optimize HTC Vive, HTC Index and Windows MR, maybe Oculus headset.

• COMMUNITY IDEAS
We're looking forward to your ideas! We want to add everything that makes sense, adds fun to the game and that above all is achievable. Note that due to the game being in VR, we will most likely encounter some limits compared to "regular" 3D games, e.g. in the game performance.

• BUG FIXING & POLISHING
The first version is already bug fixed. During the Early Access phase, we will do additional bug fixing passes and we will add polish and a bit of magic to the game.
These features determine the range of the basic game. After its completion, we're eyeing additional DLC. Each DLC will contain new missions, most likely will lead you to new construction sites and of course will add new toys to play with, such as a wheel excavator, a mobile crane, a concrete mixer, a crawler excavator, a crawler crane, a crawler, maybe even a chainsaw and a harvester.”

Care este starea actuală a versiunii aflate în acces timpuriu?

„You enter the construction site through a site trailer. You can control the tower crane, tear down a wall with a hammer and build a wall brick by brick. You won't be able to hear all sounds of the final game, not all features are implemented, there are no missions yet and not all VR headsets are supported at this point. Please refer to the previous section for a feature overview and check out our forum and its FAQs for many more details.”

„Yes. Construction Playground will cost less while in Early Access.”
