2.0 Update

For our 2.0 update, we've made several improvements, including some existing episodes fixes, adding Secret Items challenges to all episodes, and integrated our two other media related applications; the full version of Infinity Jukebox w/visualizers and Ambiance Machine, our media app that adds fun screen saver type scenes and lets you schedule recurring or specific dated Events with countdown timers which you can use for staying focused on tasks or alarms with pre-selected scenes and jukebox playlists.

Episode Updates:
* Secret Items challenge added for Marina Apartments, Fantasy Camp, Black Room, Graveyard & Hell House.
* Improved the Examination View across all episodes to better center/zoom/rotate items.
* Fixed issue with pumpkins examining in the wrong orientation and their stems not showing for the Pumpkin Hunt in 'Graveyard'.
* Improved blood and splatter effects in Hell House.
* Roughly 100 more songs (over 700 songs total now).
* Added Double jump to allow for jumping out of some of the areas previously able to cause a soft-lock.

Ambiance Machine
We're excited to include Ambiance Machine, a companion media app, now embedded in Ambient Channels. It provides quick loading screen saver type scenes and an event scheduling component that can be used across any of the views in Ambient Channels. You set the time, duration, playback item to load (Ambiance Machine Scene, Ambient Channel Episode, or Infinity Jukebox Visualizer) and an optional music playlist and it will cut over to that view at the appropriate time and display a clock and time remaining/information for your event. (You can schedule multiple events and continue to the next one once you finish your event). When the timer is up, the playlist will be stopped and a sound effect will sound. Use it for Alarms, focused time, etc.

You can hit F4 anytime to open the Ambiance Machine App and go to the schedule page to manage your events and you can hit F7 to toggle the Ambiance Machine HUD to display a clock and the Event/Next Event Information.

Infinity Jukebox
Previously, we had only included the Infinity Jukebox HUD you can toggle anytime with F6. We have added the full Infinity Jukebox application which also includes the full screen view for Infinity Jukebox and 3 different full screen visualizers.

Coming Soon
We are currently working on optimizing episodes to increase frame rates to run comfortably on more hardware. In the mean-time, you can adjust resolution and quality if you go to the graphics settings screen by hitting F9 and then clicking Graphics.

We are also working to reduce the initial load time when launching the game which increased with this update.

Halloween Release

Announcing the launch of Ambient Channels 1.1. Thanks for your feedback, in addition to adding our planned episodes, we've tried to incorporate some of your feedback in hopes of increasing the enjoyability for all our users.

Settings
Adjust Music and Ambience volumes.
Adjust Resolution, Display mode and Graphics Quality.
Note: You can access settings from any episode by hitting F2 and going to settings page. Hit F2 again to close settings without having to reload the episode.

Gameplay
New Secret Items mode - find 3 objects and unlock 4 achievements per episode.
(This is currently added to top 2 new episodes, will be added to the original 4 episodes and Hell House in an upcoming update)
When finding items, the items list on the right is ordered by number of items remaining to find to make it easier to see what is left to find.

New Episodes
Desolate Space - Contaminated Vessel. This space vessel has been contaminated and abandoned due to an alien life force. Includes background ambience. (Currently Free)
Abandoned Town - Farmhouse. This farmhouse has been abandoned due to a local environmental catastrophe. Includes a Hidden Objects chapter. (DLC purchase)
Terror Forest - Hell House. Hell House is a location of horrific acts in Terror Forest, the site of a nuclear disaster. While radiation keeps normal people away, there are some unsavory beings that use the area for unsavory deeds.

Other
The episode guide now has an indicator for if you've purchased an episode, if it's currently free or if it requires DLC purchase.
The episode preview has a DLC Purchase button to open the Steam overlay to the DLC page.
Indicator for number of items remaining to be found to complete chapter.
Exit Button on Main Episode UI
Added another 100+ songs to the jukebox.

Launch Weekend!

Welcome to the launch of Ambient Channels!

We're launching with nearly 500 songs in Infinity Jukebox - each episode includes it's own custom playlist, but you can use F6 in-game to bring up the Infinity Jukebox HUD to select another genre based playlist.

In celebration of Halloween, we've added the Episode 'Dreamscapes - Graveyard' which includes the Hidden Objects chapter 'Pumpkin Hunt'. Search the graveyard for nearly 50 pumpkins to unlock the achievement.
