“This is a huge project and it could take 3-5 years to release a first version”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“This version is not a real virtual machine, the applications it runs are not real applications, p2p network integration is limited. The main purpose of this prototype is to demonstrate and prove its UI paradigm.

The full version will be a real virtual machine on which real application can be run. It will work on desktops, laptops and with VR gears. It will be shipped with several basic preinstalled applications and widgets, like the WebBrowser, Commander and others. It will also work as a node of the ULTRANET network which provides decentralized publishing, searching, downloading, updating and anti-malware verification of UOS applications.”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“This is a prototype, not even Alpha

It provides 3 modes:

Desktop - this is how UOS will look on a desktops PCs and laptops and currently looks very close to how it will work when released

Mobile emulation - this mode shows how UOS may look on the mobile devices when supported

VR emulation - this mode emulates 3D environment that shows how UOS may look when displaying on VR gears”

“We are planning to release it as a free software”

“We are extremely open to any ideas and suggestions and you have a chance to add a features that have no chances to appear in currently available OS's.
