YP-38

P-38 闪电是一款有着独特的双尾撑设计的重型战斗机，这让它成为了美国陆军航空队最具代表性的战机之一。其用途之一是在太平洋上空为轰炸机提供护航。一些美国最优秀的王牌飞行员曾驾驶过这款战斗机作战，例如获得了40架敌机战果的理查德·邦和取得了38架敌机战果的托马斯·麦奎尔。YP-38是闪电战斗机的原型，其机鼻处配备有1门37毫米机炮，两挺12.7毫米重机枪和两挺7.62毫米机枪，能精确地向敌机射击。
