Hvorfor tidlig adgang?

“This is titled Chess++ for a reason. We want this to be a game filled with a bunch of mind-twisting chess variants. Right now, Chess++ only contains Raumschach, but we are planning on expanding the gameplay with many more variants as time goes on.

If all goes well, you can expect major updates every 2-3 months. Major updates will include things such as new graphics, better AI, new game modes, and other big features. When bugs are found, we plan on fixing them ASAP and releasing minor updates to patch things up.

We are a small group of indie developers in school and other jobs, so our full-time commitment to this game is still far on the horizon. With that being said, we will do our best to continue improving the game, but no guarantees can be made.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We expect the full version of this game to take about a year, so it will remain in Early Access until about August 2021! Keep in touch with our full release date by following Chess++ on Twitter or YouTube.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“We hope to release the full version of Chess++ when we have online multiplayer, new game modes, more advanced AI, and redesigned graphics.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“Chess++ currently has only one game mode, Raumschach. There are only two levels of AI and local multiplayer.”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“Given the young state of Chess++, we are selling it a very cheap price. As new features come out, such as redesigned graphics, new AI, and more game modes, you can expect the price of the game to increase. With the addition of online multiplayer, we will once again increase the price to compensate for the cost of online servers.”

With a new piece, a whole new moveset, and a new dimension, Chess++ is the most big-brain game you'll ever play.

Get started by going through the tutorial. It will teach you the rules and the new moves for each of the pieces. Afterwards, get some practice by playing against the easy CPU. Once you beat that, really challenge yourself with the hard CPU. If you've got a friend willing to play, challenge them as well!
