Why Early Access?

“Our small indie studio has a big focus on community-based development as we showed in the OMSI Bus Simulator universe with our long-term supported and community-driven projects. All of our games/simulations greatly benefited from the user feedback and player experiences.
This is why we chose this approach for our first core game development as well and look forward to developing and improving City Bus Manager together with you guys!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim to keep City Bus Manager in Early Access for one year or longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will increase in features and content. We plan to add new building types, new buses, random events (like concerts or world cups etc.) and other features that the community asks for. We also included a voting system in the main menu to allow the players to add ideas and vote for their favorite features so we can make sure to develop the game that the community wants.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game’s most important features are already finished. With real-world data for nearly any city in the world and the possibility to create unique and complex bus networks we allow the player to take control of the bus network of any location.

The depot can be built, customized and optimized to the player’s preference. The Early Access arrives with 20 different bus models.

The game is still a bit bare-bones and lacks some cool features that we really want to implement but comes with a lot of content to engage players for many hours. Of course, the game can still use some further polishing as we continue our Early Access Road.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase moderately when we release out of Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are planning to communicate with players about new ideas and features on our Discord. Also, we implemented a voting system in the main menu to allow the players to add ideas and vote for their favorite features. We are looking forward to improving the game together with you!”

Build your own depot from scratch and create your personal bus routes in City Bus Manager. Play in your own home town or any famous city in the world. Recreate the official bus network or change it completely to your preference.

Did you ever think your local bus schedule sucks? This is your chance to show that you can step it up. Connect all the Points of Interests and see your passenger numbers grow. Buy new buses and hire staff to make sure you can keep up with your schedule.

Take care of your buses in the repair and washing stations to make sure they meet your customers' demands. Build a Service Center to sell tickets directly at your depot and engage with your clients. Get the best passenger reviews and lead your bus company to a prosperous future!



Whether its your home town or any world-famous city - it's in the game. 100% based on actual OpenStreetMap data including all the specific Points of Interests. The passenger simulation and bus route travel time is also based on real data. Recreate the existing lines or come up with completely new set-ups, it's all up to you!



Build everything that a good running bus depot needs. Parking slots, garages, warehouses, maintenance and washing stations are needed to take care of your vehicle fleet. But you also need offices, restrooms and a kitchen to take care of your staff. Also don't forget about the Service Center to sell tickets and connect with your customers. Choose from different environmental objects and furniture to match the depot to your style.

City Bus Manager arrives with more than 20 different bus models to offer the most realistic experience and allow you to adjust your bus fleet to your liking. On top all the buses can be repainted either ingame or via an external graphic tool and of course can be shared via the Steam Workshop.
